Game 3 preview; Everett Silvertips VS Portland Winterhawks

The Everett Silvertips are looking to win tonight’s game on the road against the Portland Winterhawks, to be able to take the series lead. The Tips lost (5-2) in Game 1  on Friday night, April 6th against the Winterhawks. Everett fired back in Game 2 on Saturday night, April 7th sweeping Portland 6-0.

A few things to note going into tonight’s game; Ty Westgard didn’t play in Friday nights loss, but did play in Saturdays game victory. He doesn’t have any assist, or Goals. Lets see if he play tonight and can change that.

“In Game 1 they did a good job coming into our building and really set the pace against us,” Everett forward Patrick Bajkov said. “I think we’re looking to do the same thing down there and show that we’re ready to work. It’s hard going into someone else’s building, but with the group we have in the locker room we’re more than capable.” Patrick Bajkov told the [Everett Herald] in an interview.

Everett needs to cause lots of traffic in front of Kehlr (Portland’s Goalie) to create lots of scoring chances. Everett’s Defensive team needs to win net battles and create room for Hart to see the puck.

Game 3; Puck drops at 7:00pm @ Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Listen live on the Radio via KRKO 1380am
